Eastman E40D-TC Dreadnought Model Acoustic Guitar (Thermo-Cured)

The iconic shape of the dreadnought is synonymous with acoustic guitars in general. Big and bold, these cannons are perfect for ensemble settings where the guitar competes for sonic space with other instruments or accompanying strong singers.

This dreadnought has solid rosewood back and sides and an Adirondack spruce top, which makes him the classic flat-picking bluegrass instrument.

Eastman provides the solid top with their ‘Thermo Cured’ treatment. This ensures that the wood is exposed to heat and pressure, so that it has already lost much of its moisture to this process. The result is a guitar with a played-in character, with the sound qualities of an older vintage instrument.
